Carmen joins The Wave having completed her studies in Psychology. Carmen has wonderful experience in providing compassionate care for Trauma Survivors (and Thrivers). Carmen has specialist knowledge of humanitarian case management and has worked with marginalised communities, young people, HIV and children of sexual and gender based violence. Carmen has experience in providing Emergency interventions and Social Welfare support in situations of Domestic Violence. Carmen. Y (We are lucky enough to have two Carmen’s) is passionate about Child and Family Psychology and is continuing her professional training within The Wave Clinical Team. Carmen is a beautiful singer and loves to create opportunities for theatre arts and showtime. Carmen is based at The Main House and is a Recovery Coach in Team Mahisha.
